Since 1981, Raga Restaurant has served its patrons classic East Indian cuisine. Our menu, containing more than 100 items, features Northern Indian cooking but also includes some Kashmiri and South Indian dishes. The Raga's recipes were designed by Chef Kapotra, who cooked for the Nehru-Gandhi family, and are adhered to by our current chefs.

What’s a Raga?
A raga is a melody in classical Indian music around which musicians improvise. Each raga has unique melodic qualities that make it totally individual. Although there are an infinite number of possible ragas, only several hundred are commonly used.
